The Chicks at 2 weeks

The chicks have made it to 2 weeks just cleaned them out for the last time the next they will (weather depending) be moved into their new house in the workshops. They are growing so fast I have switched the brooder off but will prob have to switch it back on in the workshops unless we have a heat wave!

This one was the first to hatch out I think it might be a hen!

This is them in their box wile I am washing out and disinfecting the bath!

Back in the bath for the last time hopefully will move them next week!

This is the new incubator hopefully it will be more successful than the last one!!

The chicks at 1 week old

In the end we had 6 chicks and they are doing well now living in the bathroom in the bath I was going to move them into the workshops this week but changed my mind due to the weather so might give them a couple of weeks then move them over!

The one with the green tag is a bit of an experiment I thick it might be a hen so will have to wait and see! We had a visitor yesterday Garry's (camera club) daughter and granddaughter came round to have a look at them!
This morning the people turned up to fit my new windows hopefully they should be done in 3 days much to the hounds discussed!

The Chucks Day 20

Well it all started to kick off today lunch time we had a new arrival I think it's a Legbar. The Dob's are very interested in all the commotion that's going down in the incubator!!

Then this evening another Legbar had arrived closely followed by a Blue Laced Wyandott and something else was hatching out when I came to bed all a day early but hopefully all will be ok!

I wonder what tomorrow will bring?! In hindsight I should of written on the eggs what they where! At least what ever comes next they will be pure breeds!
